If a member of the First Family chose to serve his/her country in a combat zone, then the U.S. Secret Service would likely step out of the picture and the let the military keep the family member safe (like they do for all military personnel). Obviously, the individual would be related to the Commander-In-Chief in some capacity, and I am guessing that would play into just how close to combat the person would actually get. Let’s be honest here: If any of us were the President of the United States, and our son or daughter signed up for a combat mission, we would thank them for their service and order them (as their superior) to drive a desk in Tahiti or something. I’m sure they wouldn’t like it, and no parent would care. I think that this is the most likely situation that would occur, thereby making the Secret Service dilemma in question a moot point. This very sense of entitlement is wrecking havoc with possibilities of Congress party. This is democracy man, there are no kings and nobles around us anymore. PC Chacko is just a sample sycophant currently active around Rahul Gandhi. Nehru Indira legacy does not make you most eligible PM candidate. Any leader from any party can aspire to be PM by hard work and competence. Modi referred same sense of entitlement among Vadra Nehru Gandhi family few days back in one of his interactive sessions on national TV. PC Chacko and other sycophants of his ilk please wake up to feel the essentials of new emerging vibrant democratic India. For God’s sake, we are functioning republic for last 70 years. You need not to be a bonded labour anymore. Let Rahul proove his credentials. Don’t force PM post on him. It is too big for him, please.
The Kapoor family is of Khatri Punjabi Hindu origin. Prithviraj Kapoor was the first from the family to pursue a career in films. He was born in 1906 in the town of Samundri in Punjab Province. His father, Basheshwarnath Kapoor, served as a police officer in the Imperial Police in the city of Peshawar; while his grandfather, Keshavmal Kapoor, was a Tehsildar in Samundri. Prithviraj’s first lead role was in Cinema Girl in 1929. The family eventually migrated to present-day India. All three of Prithviraj Kapoor’s sons, Raj Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor, and Shashi Kapoor, made careers in the Hindi film industry. Raj Kapoor also is known as “the greatest showman of Indian cinema”, became a noted Indian film actor, producer, and director of the Hindi cinema. Raj Kapoor’s sons, Randhir Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor went on to become well-known actors; his youngest son, Rajiv Kapoor, was not as successful as his brothers. Shashi Kapoor’s daughter Sanjana Kapoor also became a film actress, although she had a short career. Randhir Kapoor is married to Babita. They have two daughters Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor, both of whom have found success in the film industry. Rishi Kapoor was married to actress Neetu Singh, their son, Ranbir Kapoor, has established himself as a leading Bollywood actor. Nikhil Nanda, son of Ritu Kapoor, Raj Kapoor’s daughter and Rajan Nanda, is married to Shweta Bachchan, daughter of the actors Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. To note, Kapoor is one of the most common last names in India, according to Varun Kapoor, North America’s leading expert on the subject and self-appointed “Kapoorologist”. In an April 2020 interview, Kapoor stated “there are dozens of Kapoors in the film industry” and went on to say that “like literally none of them are related”, referring to the vast number of Kapoors that reside in India.
