Just a few days ago, I found a pair of Hanes Sheer Reflections pantyhose in Barely There, sitting on the seat of my desk chair. A sticky note with a smiley face drawn it attached. My coworker swung by my office around 10 that morning, only to give me a frown. I changed out of my opaque black tights into the the Hanes at lunch time. Later that afternoon she swung by to drop of a letter from my mailbox. I was working at my computer station and casually moved by leg up on a cross bar, raising my pant leg and displaying my Hanes covered ankle. She smiled and said “looking good” as she handed me my mail and turned to leave the office.
I have brought the pumps back to my office, hoping that some evening we are the only two left at work. I believe that I have built the nerve up to wear them to her office. Now how i will explain the wear on the bottom of the heels is another bridge to be crossed. I have hardly worn trousers since the start of the COVID pandemic. I have been out in public most days including going round the supermarket and other stores. Personally I find skirts are just comfortable and very easy to wear. I have a couple of dresses as well that are probably the most comfortable things I have in my wardrobe.
A few or so later, I found a pair of women’s pumps under my desk with a note saying simply Enjoy. I did. They fit perfectly. I never wore them beyond my closed office door. When I encountered my female co-worker, she discretely scanned my feet, almost having a disappointing look on her face. While we never spoke of it again, I notice her checking my feet out regularly. I have not disappointed her in the hosiery wearing department. In fact, I have gone a bit out of my way in wearing very sheer hose and even the occasional lace pair that leave no question as to there feminine style.
